Doctor of Ministry

Depending upon the seminary or divinity school attended, a student may receive a grant in the amount of $1,500 to $2,500 per year for up to three years, if enrolled in the Doctor of Ministry program. Please see the tab for the list of eligible seminaries and divinity schools.

Interested students must submit the Doctor of Ministry (DMIN) application available below.

  • Grants are available only to citizens of the United States who are residents of Virginia, North Carolina or South Carolina. Students must meet residency requirements as stated in the application.

  • Deadline dates for submitting an application are May 1st and November 1st.

  • Applicant must be in the Baptist ministry or have plans to be employed in Baptist ministry. See the requirements on the application.

  • Grades must be submitted with the application if you are already in the DMIN program.

  • Student must reapply each year in order to continue to receive the grant.
